As of Sep 2018 all ISO 9001 registrations had to transition and re-register to the 2015 version of the standard. There were significant changes included in the latest version of the standard and much is written about the new standard. This session will discuss the road map that Boyce Technologies pursued during their transition process.

About the speaker: David B. Levy
David is currently the Director of Quality and Safety at Boyce Technologies, Inc. in Long Island City, NY where he directed the implementation of an ISO 9001 Quality Management System bringing the organization to its first registration in Sep 2015. Immediately following registration, the company began its transition to the 2015 version of the standard to which they were registered in May 2018. Since 1991 David has directed the implementation of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems including 10 registrations across 6 companies to each of the 5 different versions of ISO 9001.
David, an ASQ Fellow, has been an ASQ member since 1990. Leadership Committee Meetings are typically scheduled for the second Tuesday of the month. They usually begin in a closed session around 6:30 PM, and then the meeting opens to all members starting at approximately 7:00 PM. Check the current month's meeting notice in the calendar above to confirm location and time.

For any PDM at which a fee is charged, ASQTZ will refund fees (less a 5% processing fee) up to two (2) days prior to the start of the event as long as registrant or company notifies the Programs Chair by email or by telephone. All cancellations made within less than two (2) days of the event are non-refundable. All no-shows are non-refundable. Please note: the refund check is sent to you via our online banking service in a non-descript window envelope, with a return address of "C.D.S.I."
