About the speaker:
Guido Schmitz is currently Director of Global Packaging Design within the Innovation R&D Department at Bayer Consumer Care in Morristown, NJ. He is responsible for new technology development, capital investment and packaging innovation. His range of global responsibilities include idea generation, conception and development of new products and technologies, including new material, new formulations and new dose forms, such as powders, granulations, solid-dose tablets and gel capsules.
Mr. Schmitz has nearly 35 years of international experience in the consumer healthcare industry, specializing in process technology innovation, branding, design and packaging. He is responsible for the successful implementation of local and global new production processes as well as projects for Bayer’s HealthCare Consumer Care’s OTC brand portfolio. Since 2010 he has been a member of the “Bayer AG Innovation Expert Club.” Mr. Schmitz is currently a member of the Rutgers Advisory Board for packaging of education.

Unless otherwise specified in the meeting notice in the calendar above, all PDMs and LCMs are held in the Besso Room on the 4th floor of the Palisades Center, near the ice rink.

Leadership Committee Meetings are typically scheduled for the second Tuesday of the month. They usually begin in a closed session around 6:30 PM, and then the meeting opens to all members starting at approximately 7:00 PM. Check the current month's meeting notice in the calendar above to confirm location and time.

For any PDM at which a fee is charged, ASQTZ will refund fees (less a 5% processing fee) up to two (2) days prior to the start of the event as long as registrant or company notifies the Programs Chair by email or by telephone. All cancellations made within less than two (2) days of the event are non-refundable. All no-shows are non-refundable. Please note: the refund check is sent to you via our online banking service in a non-descript window envelope, with a return address of "C.D.S.I."
