Topic: Environmental sustainability awareness training – ISO 14001:2015, Aspects/Impacts, Handling waste streams, and Landfill free certificate
This presentation provides the strategies necessary for establishing, implementing, and maintaining an EMS (Environmental Management System).
About the speaker:
Susan Justice holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from the Rutgers College of Engineering. Susan worked in the quality field for 30 years as a Quality Engineer at Bendix and ITT (Manufacturer, Defense Industry), then as a Quality Manager at MSA (Manufacturer, Safety Equipment). After MSA, Susan became a Quality System Manager at Aptar Group. In all four positions Susan coordinated activities for the overall design, implementation, training, and maintenance to attain ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 Quality Management System certifications, developed, facilitated, and authored key modules (Internal Auditing, Document Control, CAPA, Customer Complaint Process, Risk Management Process, Process Reviews, Management Review Process, Change Control, FDA Preparedness/Mock Audits and Process Mapping Applications).
Susan participated in Lean Manufacturing Initiatives: Six-Sigma Green Belt projects. Implemented 5S program (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) and most recently 20 Keys to Continuous Improvement.
