Fred Strauss
Fredric R Strauss has been a Quality Professional for over 25 years as a Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Control Supervisor, and Quality Assurance Engineer. He has been a Certified ISO 9000 Quality Systems Auditor since June 1991 with experience in ISO 9001 (2000) systems and procedures implementation and support, Quality Systems Audit, Test, Inspection, Failure Analysis, Cross Functional Team Facilitation and process improvement programs in the following fields: Fire Protection Equipment Design and manufacture, Semiconductor Equipment fabrication, Printed Circuit Fabrication and Testing, Casting, Stamping, Machining and Assembly of ferrous and nonferrous metal components, Injection and Blow Molding of plastics, Electrical and Electroless plating of metals, Testing and Fabrication of fiber optics components and lasers. Fred has a BSc in Chemistry and an MBA in Human Resources and Management. He has been ASQ certified Quality Auditor since 1991and has been auditing and performing ISO 9001 quality systems upgrades since then. He is currently Arrangements Chairman of the Tappan Zee Section of ASQ . Fred has two adult children and resides in Connecticut. His hobbies are Tennis, Hiking, Canoeing, bicycling, reading, gardening and traveling.
